Jamie

Hello!

I’m Jamie, the owner and florist of The Copper Dahlia. I’m a small hobby florist that takes between 6-10 events per year, alongside life as a wife and mama. I mainly work through referrals from friends and family, but also have partnerships with a few awesome vendors.

I grew up in the floral industry, and am 5th generation - my great great grandmother started a floral farm/florist in Wapato, WA in the 1920’s. My mom also had her own shops as I was growing up and I spent 8 years learning the industry and floral design full-time beginning in 2004. I then went on to work in the corporate world (in customer service, project coordination, technical writing, and training/instructional design) while still dabbling in florals “on the side” occasionally until I licensed my business in 2022, then my transition to stay at home parent in 2024.

I specialize in using creativity to fit any “look” within budget and personalize all my quotes and proposals. I like to hear about your personal style, hobbies, interests, as well as your event vision in order to create florals that make an impression. I love a good brainstorm session if you’re open to new ideas!

Although I can match any style, I personally love using textures, greens, and organic, botanical style inspired by the PNW.
