The tablescape was the star of the decor, with dark linens, teal runners, gold accents, and super fun colorful dried oranges amidst jewel tone goblets and modern touches. I made multiple arrangements of varied sized in different gold containers to vary the heights down the long tables. I used a beautiful dahlia in raspberry with orangey undertones, burgundy cosmos, burgundy carnations, bronze mums, dried blue echinops, blue thistle, autumn joy sedum, fall variegated pink hydrangea, a peachy/orange viburnum berry, ninebark, and plenty of eucalyptus.

I’m in love with this photo of the bride checking out the final touches on set-up. That feeling of all your planning and ideas coming to fruition is so giddy.

Outside on the patio were some additional floral pieces on the bar area, as well as a simple greenery accent to the seating chart. Back in the kitchen, I made multiple garlands of eucalyptus and Italian ruscus to touch up the island.

After some party mingling, guests were asked to pose for a group photo. Instead of a “cheese” their photographer announced that Danielle and Jose were married, as the couple reentered the event escorted by mariachi band! Surprise!

Danielle’s bouquet had the raspberry, peach dahlias, a bronze heirloom rose, viburnum berry, blackberry scabiosa, fall toned hydrangea, and eucalyptus. Jose’s boutonniere was a bronze rose with blackberry scabiosa, autumn joy sedum, and eucalyptus.

A cascade of color accented their beautiful, berry toned cake, with dahlias, mums, carns, cosmos, scabiosa, Italian ruscus, and thistle. The base of eucalyptus and ruscus sure made it pop!

Thank you, Danielle and Jose, for including The Copper Dahlia in your surprise!
