Emma and Stuart

Emma and Stuart’s elegant garden style wedding in June was a highlight of the summer! It was definitely one of my largest weddings to date, with beautiful floral accents in every nook and cranny of The Edgewater Hotel in Seattle, WA. Working with Melissa of Little Blue Bird Events, she developed a color palette, and I was able to select floral varieties to suit the style and add so much color to the day.

Emma’s bouquet was a handtied garden mix of ivory and peach roses, blue delphinium, lavender snapdragons, lavender alstromeria, peach stock, larkspur buds, and silver rock daisy foliage.

Stuart’s boutonnière had an ivory rose, peach stock, lavender alstromeria, and blue delphinium to match the bridal bouquet.

The bridal party had 7 groomsmen and 7 bridesmaids.

Bridesmaid bouquets had peach and ivory roses, peach stock, purple alstromeria, larkspur buds, and silver rock daisy foliage. To match, the groomsmen’s boutonnières were an ivory rose and blue delphinium.

The ceremony space at The Edgewater really emphasizes the water of Elliot Bay. As an altar, Emma wanted airy line flowers. These pieces have blue delphinium, purple snapdragons, peach stock, peach and lavender roses, bright peach gerbera daisies, shasta daisies, lavender mums, peach carnations, and greenery.

The aisle was lined with centerpieces of gerbera daisies, lavender mums, peach carnations, ivory roses, purple larkspur, chamomile, and greens.

Coordinating florals were included for their welcome sign and guestbook table.

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio after the ceremony. Bistro tables were accented by petite round arrangements of blue mums, bright peach gerbera daisies, and white alstromeria.

Over the fireplace was a statement piece of blue delphinium, purple larkspur, peach roses, lavender mums, bright peach gerbera daisies, white hydrangea, and greens including magnolia and ivy.

Tucked into the bookcases filled with family memory photos were assorted budvases filled with coordinating stems.

For the reception, the altar pieces from the ceremony were used for the sweetheart table. The centerpieces down the aisle were also used on half of the guest tables, the other half receiving assorted budvases in various shapes, height, and style. The budvases were filled with assorted blooms that were used in other wedding components. My personal favorite were the mini bundles of fresh lavender added to the tall diva vases from The Sweet Buffet Lady Rentals. Melissa of Little Blue Bird Events was a rockstar during the room flip getting all the pieces from the ceremony moved over to the tables.

Cheers to Emma and Stuart, it was a pleasure designing for your floral soiree!
